HVI light Conductor

HVI light Conductor also allows installations without an equipotential bonding connection to the building or structure at the end of an adjustment range.

The HVI light Conductor is a supplement to the tried and tested HVI Conductor. Due to the defined coupling point, e.g. at the tripod, an equipotential bonding (functional earth conductor) is not necessary. This results in easier installation options and, subsequently, significant time savings during set-up.

Building roof surfaces are commonly the last installation level nowadays. Irrespective of the hazard of possible lightning strikes, pipelines, electrical and information technology systems as well as PV systems are installed on the roof surface. All these systems have conductive connections on the inside of the structure. Partial lightning currents can therefore also get into the interior of the building, where they can compromise or even destroy the sensitive electrical/electronic equipment. Through isolated air-termination systems, this carryover of partial lightning currents into the inside of buildings is prevented.

The HVI light Conductor is the system for maintaining the separation distance on flat roofs. The high-voltage-resistant insulation of the HVI light Conductor prevents uncontrolled flashovers; e.g. through the roofing to metal or electric parts underneath it.

High-voltage-resistant insulated HVI light Conductor for maintaining the separation distance from electrically conductive parts according to IEC 62305-3.
For use up to an equivalent separation distance of s ≤ 45 cm (in air) or s ≤ 90 cm (solid building material).

The HVI light Conductor meets the requirements of DIN IEC/TS 62561-8 (VDE V 0185-561-8).

Processing temperature -5 to +40 °C and permanent temperature range (in case of fixed installation) of -30 to +70 °C to be observed.

HVI light Conductor (on a reel)

The HVI light Conductor is delivered in a length of 100 m on a disposable plywood reel (diameter approx. 800 mm, width approx. 485 mm), incl an Allen key.
